Residential Special Training Centre for Out-of-School Children’s Education

Hand in Hand Switzerland, in partnership with Greengate Limited, Gibraltar and Hand in Hand India, is to undertake a new project titled ‘Residential Special Training Centre for Out of School Children’s Education.’ The project aims to provide access to quality education for 60 out-of-school children (never enrolled, dropouts, child labour, bonded labour, etc.) from underprivileged communities, in the Poongavanam Residential Special Training Centre (RSTC), Kancheepuram district, Tamil Nadu, India. These 60 boys require not only academic support but also boarding, lodging, and psychosocial assistance to address the challenges imposed by the intersectionality of their socio-economic conditions.
