2020 - Women Transforming India Award
Our President, Dr. Kalpana Sankar, wins the Women Transforming India award from NITI Aayog and United Nations India from the Hon'ble Defence Minister of India on Women's Day 2020. Niti Aayog is the apex public policy think tank of the Government of India.
2019 - Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Global Award
Dr. Kalpana Sankar received the award under the Individual Champions category. The award was given in partnership with the Kingdom of Bahrain and UN Women.
2019 - Bal Kalyan Puraskar (Child Welfare Award)
Received from the Ministry of Women and Child Development under the Institution category from His Excellency the President of India
2017 - Nari Shakti Puraskar (Women Empowerment Award)
Dr. Kalpana Sankar wins the Nari Shakti Puraskar from the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, for the contribution to the empowerment of vulnerable and marginalised women, from the Hon’ble President of India.
2011 - BBC World Challenge Contest
Hand in Hand Inclusive Development and Services’ (HHIDS) entry ‘Trash to Gas’ was declared the runner-up in the BBC World Challenge Contest in Amsterdam
